Services

Kings Road Claims provides unclaimed property recovery assistance, helping individuals, families, and businesses identify and file claims for property held by state agencies. Services are provided on a success-fee basis unless otherwise agreed in writing, and no claim is filed on your behalf without your written authorization.

Fees

Fees are success-based — you only pay if funds are successfully recovered on your behalf. In California, the fee for investigator-assisted unclaimed property claims is 10%, set under Code of Civil Procedure §1582. Specific fee arrangements will be detailed in your service agreement before any work begins.

No Government Affiliation

Kings Road Claims is an independent practice operated by Jordan Hewitt, a California-registered unclaimed property investigator. It is not affiliated with the California State Controller's Office or any other government agency. You may search for and claim unclaimed property directly through official state websites at no cost.
